Cannes Lions crowns 2026 Young Lions champions
The Young Lions Competitions, sponsored by Adobe, covered Design, Digital, Film, Media, Marketers, PR and Print. Each category challenged participants to address a social or environmental issue through creative communications.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has announced the winners of its 2026 Young Lions Competitions, recognising emerging creative talent from around the world across seven disciplines.
More than 400 communications professionals aged 30 and under competed during the Festival, responding to briefs from charities, NGOs and organisations focused on social impact. Teams had 24 hours to develop campaign concepts, which were evaluated by members of the Cannes Lions juries.
Global talent recognised across seven competitions

Design and Digital winners announced
In the Design competition, Re challenged participants to develop a flexible visual identity and festival installation highlighting nature conservation.
Gold went to Re the Earth by Juan Manuel Linares, art director at DAVID, Colombia, and Alejandro Orjuela, copywriter at Isla, Colombia.
Silver was awarded to Stand by the Wild by Alexandre de Sousa and Bárbara Estefânia Fantone of Bastarda, Portugal.
Bronze went to Re to the Wild by Minwoo Song and Sumin Kim of STUDIOK110, South Korea.
In the Digital competition, Comic Relief asked teams to reposition the Red Nose as a symbol of modern activism for Generation Z.
Gold was awarded to Amaz-on Red Nose by Moyan Tang and Yue Yin of Havas Creative China.
Silver went to Poke Your Nose Where It Matters by Muhammad Osama Kalam and Tipu Sultan Ajmad Dawood of Digitz Group, Pakistan.
Bronze was presented to The Clowns Count by Jule Gerlach and Finn Mangels of Jung von Matt, Germany.
Film, Media and Marketers competitions
The Film competition, set by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, focused on water safety awareness through a 60-second film.
Gold was awarded to A Life in the Picture by Giorgi Abuladze and Luka Mosiashvili of SUPERMARKET, Georgia.
Silver went to Signs of drowning by Ingrid Gulaker Skoglund and Tage Hogness of WAL, Norway.
Bronze was awarded to The Water Watcher by Máté Tóth and Enikő Lénárd.
In the Media competition, organised with the ABC Global Alliance, participants developed campaigns highlighting the undercounting of advanced breast cancer.
Gold went to The note: I'm Here by Bonkyung Koo and Yerin Jang of Cheil Worldwide, South Korea.
Silver was awarded to COUNT US BOTH by Choy Ching Yung and Chi Hiu Huen of Carat Media, Hong Kong SAR.
Bronze went to HandsUp4Uncounted by Erina Yokota of TBWA\HAKUHODO and Riko Uesugi of Japan.
The Marketers competition, also set by Re, focused on brand partnerships supporting nature conservation.
Gold was awarded to The wildest bookmate by Helena Navarro Valero and Marta Benedito Bernat of Penguin Random House, Spain.
Silver went to Google Maps: Earth Mode by Lydia Yoon and Joanne Chen of Google, Canada.
Bronze was awarded to Back-up the Wild by Rudrani Bose and Payal Mehra of ITC Ltd., India.
PR and Print award recipients
The PR competition, created with the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs, challenged participants to demonstrate the importance of space governance.
Gold went to The Official Flag of Space by Sebastian Pandonis and Jens Østrem of NoA Anorak, Norway.
Silver was awarded to A safe space for your safe space by Chiara Huber and Simon Waldner of Jung von Matt, Germany.
Bronze went to The UN-billed Space by Wing Man Ma and Ka Wing Kavieng Cheng of Edelman, Hong Kong SAR.
The Print competition, also set by the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, focused on improving public recognition of water safety risks.
Gold was awarded to A Guide to the Signs by Hannah Murphy and Kate Dempsey of TBWA\Ireland.
Silver went to Where you look matters by Max Knutssøn of Revolt London and Nikolaj Leongard of VML Copenhagen.
Bronze was awarded to Inflatables by Gavriela Mousouraki of The Newtons Laboratory and Paraskevi Kardatou of Ogilvy Greece.
