Publicis posts solid 2025 results on AI-led strategy

Publicis Groupe delivered strong full-year results for 2025, posting 5.6% organic growth and improving margins and cash generation, as the advertising and communications group said it expects to outperform the market for a seventh consecutive year in 2026.

The company reported quarter four organic growth of 5.9%, driving solid performance across all regions. The U.S. grew 5.2%, Europe 4.2%, and Asia-Pacific 5.8%, at a time when several competitors are expected to report negative growth.

Publicis posted an operating margin of 18.2%, up 20 basis points year-on-year, while headline earnings per share rose 6.6% at constant currency to €7.48. Free cash flow increased 10.6% to €2.0 billion, and the group proposed a 2025 dividend of €3.75 per share, up 4.2%, fully paid in cash.

Arthur Sadoun, Chairman and CEO, Publicis Groupe: “Thanks to our AI-powered growth model, we are entering our second century stronger than ever,” Sadoun said. “This led to 5.6% organic growth for the full year, an acceleration versus our five-year CAGR, with every region delivering solid results while our main competitors are expected to be negative overall.”

Publicis said 2025 was marked by increased investment in artificial intelligence capabilities and talent, alongside sustained new-business momentum, as the group once again topped industry rankings.

According to Sadoun, artificial intelligence has become a structural growth driver rather than a threat.

Sadoun: “Since the rise of GenAI three years ago, we have increased our organic net revenue and operating profit by 20%, widening the gap with peers and growing ahead of competition by 700 basis points in 2025.”

Looking ahead, Publicis guided for 2026 organic growth of between 4% and 5%, with expectations of a slightly higher operating margin than 18.2% and free cash flow of approximately €2.1 billion.

Sadoun said the group’s ambition is to become the industry’s “Most Valuable Partner” to clients, employees, and shareholders by focusing on agentic AI solutions, talent development, and expansion into new addressable markets.

Sadoun: “This makes us confident in outperforming the industry for the seventh year in a row in 2026 on organic growth, while increasing margin, EPS and free cash flow.”
