Monks debuts AI broadcast tool
Monks, the global digital brand of S4 Capital, is showcasing its AI-driven live video technology at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam from 12 to 15 September.
The company is debuting LiveVision, a production tool developed with NVIDIA that applies real-time intelligence to broadcast workflows. Built for sports and live events, the system analyzes multi-camera feeds as they happen, suggesting optimal shots, prioritizing content and optimizing bandwidth. Broadcasters benefit from faster switching, reduced manual intervention and lower operational costs.
Karan Chetal, Chief Growth Officer, Monks Technology Services: "IBC is where the broadcast community looks for what's next. At Monks Technology Services, we believe MEGS is more than a vertical — it's the arena where technology, creativity, and audience connection converge. With LiveVision, we're giving broadcasters the ability to move faster, work smarter, and unlock entirely new ways to engage fans and grow revenue."
The system is powered by NVIDIA Rivermax, DeepStream and Holoscan for Media technologies, and integrates with Haivision StreamHub to optimize camera feeds for long-duration events. It can run in the cloud, on-premises or over 5G.
Lewis Smithingham, EVP of Strategic Industries, Monks: "By analyzing and acting on video feeds in-flight, we empower broadcasters to scale smarter, reduce infrastructure and instantly capitalize on monetization opportunities that were previously out of reach."
LiveVision has been shortlisted for the Game-Changer Sustainable Product award at the Corporate Star Awards and for the Industry Partnership category at the IABM Awards, both announced during IBC.
Nikki Gifford, Chief Operating Officer, Monks Technology Services: "True innovation creates impact. Being named a finalist for these awards affirms that our solutions deliver measurable sustainability, bold design, and tangible results—values that guide every product we create. I'm proud of Monks Technology Services for helping shape a future where technology, collaboration, and sustainability move forward hand in hand."
Attendees can experience LiveVision in the Dell booth at IBC (Hall 14, C35) as well as at the Monks booth (Hall 14, C51). Monks is also presenting its Time Addressable Media Storage (TAMS) solution, which allows instant, frame-accurate access to media libraries with timecode and metadata search.
The company will participate in two IBC Accelerator showcases, including projects on personalized sports highlight reels and AI agent orchestration for live production. Monks executives and technologists will also join panel discussions and speaking sessions on AI, immersive technology and cloud-native workflows at venues across the conference.
Monks works across the media, entertainment and gaming sectors, supporting broadcasters in implementing AI across the content supply chain to increase efficiency and enable personalized viewing experiences.
