Dentsu ANZ names Danica Bellchambers as chief data and tech officer
Dentsu ANZ has appointed Danica Bellchambers as chief data and technology officer, effective May 11, as the agency strengthens its focus on integrating data, technology and AI across its operations.
The role brings together these capabilities into a unified function that supports dentsu’s media, creative and experience practices, with a focus on delivering more connected and effective outcomes for clients.
Expanding integrated data and AI capabilities
Danica Bellchambers will join the dentsu ANZ executive leadership team, reflecting the growing importance of data and AI in shaping the agency’s strategic direction. Her remit includes aligning existing talent and building a cohesive approach across the organisation.
The appointment supports dentsu ANZ’s broader effort to create a more integrated model, where data and technology underpin all areas of the business.

Background in AI and product strategy
Danica Bellchambers joins from Nine, where she led AI product strategy and oversaw the development of AI-driven solutions across content, audience and commercial applications.
Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Clemenger BBDO, focusing on data science and analytics, and embedding advanced analytics into marketing and creative work.
Recognition and future focus
Her appointment follows industry recognition, including being named in B&T’s 2025 Top 10 Best of the Best Chief Product & Technology Officers and receiving the 2024 B&T Women in Media Award in the technology category.
In the role, she will draw on dentsu’s global AI platforms and partnerships while developing solutions tailored to the ANZ market.
