Cannes Lions 2024: Introducing Carla Hassan, Diana Frost, Chris Chen

Carla Hassan

Chief Marketing Officer, J.P. Morgan & Chase

Carla is the Chief Marketing Officer of JPMorgan Chase with responsibility for marketing, which includes advertising, media, sponsorships, market research and customer insights.

Most recently, she was the Chief Marketing Officer of Citi, leading the marketing organisation to build distinctive, impactful campaigns that differentiated the brand, accelerated digital capabilities and fueled the firm’s continued growth.

Prior to joining Citi, Carla was Executive Vice President and Global Chief Marketing Officer of Toys “R” Us. Prior to joining Toys “R” Us, Carla served as Senior Vice President, Brand Management for PepsiCo’s Global Beverage Group. Prior to that, Carla held several marketing roles at The Kellogg Company.

Carla serves on the board of the AdCouncil, the Association of National Advertisers, and is a 2020 NYWICI Matrix award winner. Carla is also a member of the 2018 Class of The Henry Crown Fellowship within the Aspen Global Leadership Network at The Aspen Institute.

Diana Frost

Chief Growth Officer, Kraft Heinz

Diana Frost is Chief Growth Officer (aka the global Chief Marketing Officer) for The Kraft Heinz Company, responsible for growing Kraft Heinz’s innovation engine as well as driving best-in-class, award-winning marketing for the company’s iconic brand portfolio.

 In this role, Frost oversees brand building across the organisation, which includes The Kitchen, Kraft Heinz’s in-house agency delivering creative ideas at the speed of culture, and the company’s digital, personalisation, and paid media teams. She also manages the Innovation & Disruption Team, which brings new-to-the-world ideas and solutions to markets around the world.

Chris Chen

Chief Creative Officer, Dentsu Creative China

The winner of Campaign AOY Greater China’s Creative Person of the Year 2019 and Agency Head of the Year 2016, Chris has led a team of over 200 creatives winning over 500 awards, including Cannes Lions, Effie’s Greater China Most Effective Agency Office, Campaign’s Greater China Customer Engagement Agency of the Year & China Creative Agency of the Year.

Chris was the jury for Cannes Digital Craft and Creative Data Lion, the New York Festival, Spikes Asia, and Effie etc. He served at MMA APAC advisory board and acted as chairperson at SMARTIES China Awards.

Creative to the core, Chris was the host and consultant of the first ever daily TV show focusing on the Internet in Taiwan and one of the pioneers of R&B and Acid Jazz music. He contributed to a lot of well-known music albums and his band ‘Why Not’ was shortlisted in Taiwan Golden Melody Awards.
